Pietro Lombardi basses are made with a beautifully flamed maple back and a highly select spruce top. The sophisticated, amber-colored spirit varnish of the Lombardi is reminiscent of Italian makers. These basses have nice midrange and fundamental quality, making them a great pairing for any musical setting.
When these basses arrive, the workshop puts hours into further setting up the instrument with a deluxe bridge, shooting of the fingerboard, soundpost refitting, machine heads, tailpieces and more. Enhancing its depth of sound in every way. It has the subtle dimensions and feel of a 7/8th but boasts a petite fingerboard and comfortable width all while posessing a very bold and solid sound.
