This wonderfully precise German bow comes to us from a family of three generations of professional string instrumentalists.
This bow has been in the same family for over 80 years played professionally in Czechoslovakia/Hungary and Austria. Although the tip has had some repairs over the years and there is some questions over it's originality, what is not in question is how well this bow plays. Superb sound.

Likely crafted by the renowned Nürnberger family, this exceptional bow exemplifies the masterful craftsmanship that has made their name synonymous with excellence. Originating from Markneukirchen, Germany, Nürnberger bows have long been admired for their precision, balance, and artistry.

This bass bow features a long, strong stick designed for optimal resistance and flexibility, delivering a refined playing experience. Historically favored by soloists, its responsiveness and control make it an outstanding choice for performers depth. This bow allows playing at lower dynamics to incredibly precise and dialed, whereas forte can be blasted with full authority and power.
Don't miss the rare opportunity to experience the artistry and tradition of a legacy built on generations of expertise.

This wonderful bow has now been sold to an experienced professional for its next musical journey.  Congratulations!
