Louis Morizot (1874–1957) was an influential French bow maker of great reputation.

"Born in Darney, France in 1874. He began his career as an apprentice of Eugene Cuniot-Hury in Mirecourt. Later, he joined the workshop of Charles Nicolas Bazin. Around 1914 he found employment with Eugene Sartory, an important influence on his technique and style. He established his own workshop in 1919. Then in 1920, he started training his five sons as his apprentices.

Morizot won an award at the exhibition Artisanale de Paris in 1924 a Gold medal at the same exposition in 1927."-  Brobst Violin Shop
