This instrument was inspired by the famous cello built in 1711 by Antonio Stradivari "Mara"
"This model is considered one of the finest examples of Stradivarius B form. And the originals now played by the remarkable soloist Christian Poltera. I was lucky enough to be gifted accurate measurements, sketches and plaster cast of the arching and scroll from a German restoration master. The instrument is a long pattern but very ergonomic shoulders and lower measurements. It really is an instrument that feels easy and comfortable to play. This was the 1st time I've built this model and the playability has made an impact to all that have played the." - Benedict G. Puglisi.
